CPMHA is seeking 10 of the nation’s best applicants to gain practical experience and make an impact as our crowdfunding team/division. A crowdfunding apprentice will possess both emotional and social intelligence, as well as be adept at storytelling to gain excitement about our current campaign and upcoming podcast debut. Crowdfunding apprentices will be managing our mass fundraising efforts, and working to support our programs and keep them at no cost for the public. Additionally, you must be both a team player and a leader— you must be self-motivated and eager for every opportunity.

Digital Marketing Strategist
Students pursuing a degree in marketing or communications are preferred
As a CPMHA digital marketing apprentice, you will develop digital marketing strategies by studying economic indicators, tracking changes in our growth, and identifying our campaign’s current and future needs. Additionally, given our campaign and upcoming podcast, you will be tasked with measuring and reporting social media growth, identifying trends and insights, and brainstorming new and creative ways for our organization to expand.

Executive Assistant
Business majors and students pursuing MBAs preferred
As a CPMHA executive assistant apprentice, you will be responsible for managing the schedules for the team and executive meetings, including sending reminders and managing communication between sectors. Additionally, you will be tasked with prioritizing emails and calls, answering daily phone calls, and performing minimal accounting duties.

Graphic Design

As a CPMHA graphic design apprentice, you will be tasked with creating aesthetically pleasing images and text to promote our campaign and podcast. As the visual side of CPMHA, your work must be consistent and cohesive across all aspects of the organization. Additionally, you will work with other creative team members to help make design choices for all current and future content.

Journalist Apprentice
Students pursuing a degree in Journalism or English
As a CPMHA journalist apprentice, you will be assigned to write blog posts, articles, and create resources for our mission to spread awareness on selected issues. Journalist apprentices will also be responsible for hearing and writing up real-life stories that have synergy with our mission. This entails research, establishing and maintaining contacts, writing, editing, and submitting drafts. Journalist interns may also work on proofreading and editing several books the founder is almost finished writing and ready to get published. CPMHA is addressing a lot of controversial and sensitive topics — as a journalism apprentice, you are able to pick which topics you are comfortable writing about.

Law Apprentice
Currently enrolled in or completing first year of law school
As a CPMHA legal apprentice, you will perform law-related work for our campaign, as well as work with our strategic law firm partners and shadow a licensed attorney. This internship may entail drafting documents, conducting complex research, and preparing and organizing files. We are looking for apprentices who are interested in using their legal skills for entertainment (for the Podcast) and non-profit/advocacy (for the non-profit campaign). We are also looking for apprentices who are interested in building their resumes for corporate/tax law. Legal apprentices, if desired, can also select to work on challenging legal issues that relate to pediatric mental health care, as well as work closely with our Journalism department to write about any desired legal issues.

As a non-profit intern, you will be tasked with growing our organization through fundraising, communication with outside sources, and will take on an active leadership role amongst the teams.

Integrative Nutritionist Apprentice
Students pursuing degrees in Dietetics, Nutritional Science, or related fields, or to be an Integrative Nutritionist, are preferred
As an integrative nutritionist apprentice at CPMHA, you will focus on researching the latest scientific trends in nutrition to help people manage their overall wellness (including their physical and mental health) through use of supplements and dietary science. Alongside the rest of the team, you will use tools and techniques, including mindfulness, to help change those in need’s food perspective. Our goal for our apprentices is that they will give our campaign and network nutritional information that people can use and take to their doctor to work out alternative health care treatment and plans.

As a CPMHA program coordinating apprentice, you will assist in communications between all of the teams, including working with the marketing team to build our free online program, communicating tasks, and planning and scheduling online programs. In turn, you will enhance the departments of CPMHA while exploring opportunities to add value to our organization.

Mental Health Apprentice
Students pursuing a degree in Psychology, Neuroscience/Neurology, Psychiatry, Social Work, or a related field preferred
As a CPMHA Mental Health apprentice, our goal is that our apprentices will be proactive and help change the national mental health crisis, as well as expand their expertise and school-based knowledge. Mental health apprentices will conduct research, as well work with their team to help run free, volunteer, online, national support groups and make a difference on a daily basis. The teams will collaborate to pick what mental health crisis they want to support at that time. If desired, selected apprentices will also have the option to create and run their own programs/support groups, with the help and support of the CPMHA team.

Public Relations
Students pursuing a degree in Public Relations preferred
CPMHA public relations apprentices need to be influential leaders that possess an active and compelling presence. If you know how to win clients and influence people for a campaign or podcast, the CPMHA top gun apprentice program could be the starting point for your public relations career. Through our program, you will partner with a team of PR experts to enhance our reputation through the portrayal of our vision, campaign, and podcast. Additionally, you’ll strategize, implement, and measure campaigns, write press releases and social media posts, and help with special events — all while building your network. There is a non-mandatory opportunity for an expense-free travel experience accompanying the founder on possible speaking/book tours, based on university approval (grad students only).
