The Suicide Grief Counseling Support Group for Family and Friends

Goal: provide peer support to anyone who has lost a loved one due to suicide

  • Group designed for anyone 18 or older

Group Description:

The purpose of the group is to provide peer support to anyone who is struggling with the grief of losing a loved one to suicide. We want to provide a safe and open space, where support group members can share their stories and know that they are not alone, as well as learn ways of managing their emotional pain. We will also provide resources to reach professional mental health care providers should any member need it. This support group is run by compassionate undergraduate and recently graduated student-volunteers, who’s higher education focuses on providing help to those in need. All facilitators are committed to helping group members get through the pain and crisis that they are struggling with. For anyone 18 years and older.
